First and foremost, if you do not like what you see or don’t agree with the rules as stated, click the X, close your browser, navigate away, etc. You are not being forced to view or participate in anything that you don’t want to.
Secondly, this site is hosted in the United States, and it not in California. It does not need to meet the requirements of CCPA or GDPR as neither market is the intended audience. If you are are outside the U.S., especially if you are in the E.U., you should leave. Further, given California’s strict gun control, sorry but there is really not much here for you so you should leave as well. Moving to Texas and then coming back to the site sounds good, but TX is getting ruined by CA transplants. Maybe just stick to AZ or NV and then come on back.
Third, if you are a minor, you are likely not reading this but in case you are leave before your parents find out. You are not going to find anything you can use here so having your parents get all bent out of shape because you are visiting a site that does not participate in cancel culture or politically correct speech is going to be for nothing. There is nothing on the site that we believe is harmful to minors. However, since there are things about guns and the like and we believe those things are best learned about through parents, if you are a minor please leave the site.
Collection, Control, and Usage of Information
Simply by being only you are leaving traces that you were here. If you are using an anonymizing proxy then fine, you may stay hidden or you may not. You may also get banned if your proxy is found to be nuisance on this site or reported as one elsewhere and we/our security partners become aware. We do use information collected for analytics. For example, if you are not using a proxy, we see and log your actual IP address. If you came to the site using a referral link, we see where the referral came from. If you enter your name or comments, create an account, or complete any other form, we see that information as well. However, we do not see or have the ability to gain access to encrypted contents such as passwords.
What we see is used by us for assessing the usage and security of the website, providing services you subscribed to, and in the case of commenting, adding to the site content. This boils down to 1) what is going on from a usage and security standpoint, and 2) how can it be better. Once the information is no longer useful it is deleted. However, be aware of how data is disseminated (read below) as only data under the control of the site can be deleted by the site owner.
We also use industry tools to that are capable of recording the flow of a visitors session. This information is uses for analytics while experimenting with different users experience designs. The technology behind the toolset currently being used is powered by Microsoft and does have data masking built in to automatically protect sensitive information from being screen readable, and we can easily add to the default rules if needed. However, we do not currently collect any information that warrants further protection in this fashion.
Bottom line, when you visit the site you are providing information. This is really no different than other sites except that we are being straight about what is being collected, how it is really being used, and at what point it gets shredded.

We do not facilitate the merging of your session with specific advertisements provided through Google, Microsoft, or any other advertising product or feature. These types of things happen because advertising engines track you. If you do not want to be tracked, you must take the appropriate action on your computer and or with the advertising companies.
Following links within advertisements should be thought through prior to following them because, as previously stated, this site does not control the links in advertisements. Meaning there is no way for this site to control the actual link present, where the link goes to, the content presented by the link, or the policies governing that content.
